Answer:

Please find a detailed explanation of the process below

Explanation:

Transcription is the first stage of gene expression in living organisms in which a DNA sequence is used to synthesize a mRNA molecule. This process, which occurs in the NUCLEUS of eukaryotes and cytoplasm of prokaryotes, is catalyzed by an enzyme called RNA POLYMERASE.

- In the initial stage called INITIATION, RNA polymerase binds to the promoter of GENE and starts to unwind the double strand of the DNA sequence.

- The RNA polymerase, then, begins to add complementary NUCLEOTIDE bases following the COMPLEMENTARY BASE PAIRING RULE, which states that Adenine will pair with Thymine (Uracil in RNA) while Guanine will pair with Cytosine i.e. T-A, A-U, G-C etc. This stage is called ELONGATION.

- The last stage called TERMINATION involves the stopping of the process because the RNA polymerase has encountered a termination signal.

The structure of the spinal cord can be described as (1) composed of thirty-one segments (2) having a cervical enlargement and a
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Answer: The structure of the spinal cord can be described as consisting of all the above named.

Explanation:The spinal cord is the main pathway for information connecting the brain and peripheral nervous system. Much shorter than its protecting spinal column, the human spinal cord originates in the brainstem, passes through the foramen magnum, and continues through to the conus medullaris near the second lumbar vertebra before terminating in a fibrous extension known as the filum terminale.

It is about 45 cm (18 in) long in men and around 43 cm (17 in) in women, ovoid-shaped, and is enlarged in the cervical and lumbar regions.

Over a period of time, the beetles once again reached carrying capacity and sustained it for many years. However, pollution from
Nookie1986 [14]

Answer:

As the beetles have a uniform distribution, at a carrying capacity of 14,600 beetles, there are about 128 beetles per hectare. Because 55 hectares are now unlivable, the carrying capacity would decrease by about 7,040 individuals (55 × 128).

Therefore, the carrying capacity of the ecosystem will be (old carrying capacity – decrease in carrying capacity) = (14,600 – 7,040) = 7,560 beetles.
