25 pages           200 pages
------------  =        ------------
30 min                 x min

You could cross multiply or logically look at it like this:
25 * what number = 200
25 * 8 = 200

Since we multiplied the numerator by 8 we must also multiply the denominator by 8.

30 * 8 = 240 minutes

It will take her 240 minutes to read 200 pages. because you do 200/25= 8 and then 8* 30= 240

<h3>Answer:  Choice D</h3>

========================================================

Explanation:

The darkest shaded region is in the northern most region. This region is above both blue boundary lines.

A sample point from this region is (5,2)

We'll plug these coordinates into the first inequality of choice A

3x+4y \le 12\\\\3(5)+4(2) \le 12\\\\23 \le 12\\\\

which is false. So we can rule out choice A.

We can rule out choice B for the exact same reason.

The answer is between C and D

---------------------------

Let's plug those x,y coordinates into the first inequality of choice C

3x+4y \ge 12\\\\3(5)+4(2) \ge 12\\\\23 \ge 12\\\\

which is true. So far, so good.

Now repeat for the second inequality of choice C

2x-5y \ge 10\\\\2(5)-5(2) \ge 10\\\\0 \ge 10\\\\

which is false. We rule out choice C. Choice D is the only thing left, so it must be the answer.

---------------------------

Let's check the second inequality of choice D just for the sake of completeness

2x-5y \le 10\\\\2(5)-5(2) \le 10\\\\0 \le 10\\\\

which is true.

We can see that (x,y) = (5,2) makes both inequalities of choice D to be true, and therefore we have found the final answer.

2\frac{2}{7}-1\frac{1}{3}\\\\find\ LCD(\frac{2}{7};\frac{1}{3})\\\\the\ list\ of\ multiples\ of\ 7:\ 0;\ 7;\ 14;\ \fbox{21};\ 28;...\\the\ list\ of\ multiples\ of\ 3:\ 0;\ 3;\ 6;\ 9;\ 12;\ 15;\ 18;\ \fbox{21};\ 24;...\\\\LCD(\frac{2}{7};\ \frac{1}{3})=21\\\\\frac{2}{7}=\frac{2\times3}{7\times3}=\frac{6}{21}\\\frac{1}{3}=\frac{1\times7}{3\times7}=\frac{7}{21}\\-------------------

2\frac{2}{7}-1\frac{1}{3}=2\frac{6}{21}-1\frac{7}{21}=1\frac{21+6}{21}-1\frac{7}{21}=1\frac{27}{21}-1\frac{7}{21}=\boxed{\frac{20}{21}}

Are corresponding angles are still congruent if the lines aren’t parallel?
Alina [70]
No they are not in the corresponding angles theorem it states that if and only if two parallel lines are cut by a transversal then the pairs of corresponding angles are congruent. And if two lines are cut by a transversal and the corresponding angles are congruent, then the lines are parallel.
