Surrealism is an art form in which you create paintings and sculptures that you would not see in real life and you wouldn't necessarily see this kind of thing out in your normal life. this kind of artwork can also fall into the category of ready- made art. the term ready- made comes from Marcel Duchamp a famous artist in the 1920s and this became popular because you are making something that used to be useful into something completely useless, and since this was new to the people of that time it intrigued many.
