Answer:

77 Sq m

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the shaded shape = Area of the rectangle with dimensions 14 m by 8m - Area of rectangle with dimensions ( 14 - 5 - 2=7) 7m by 5m.

= 14*8 - 7*5

= 112 - 35

= 77 Sq m

Answer:

The "area of the shaded shape" is 77 m^2.

Step-by-step explanation:

The white rectangle on the left of this figure has width 5 m and length (14 - 5 - 2) m, or 7 m.  <em>Check:  summing up the vertical side lengths on the left of this figure, we get (5 + 7 + 2) m = 14 m, which equals the unbroken 14 m on the right of this figure. </em>

Thus, the area of the white rectangle is 5 m times 7 m, or 35 m^2.

The area of the green rectangle, before the white one is cut out, is

8 m by 14 m, 112 m^2

Find the green area by subtracting the white area (35 m^2) from the uncut green area (112 m^2).  We get the net area (green area)

(112 m^2) - (35 m^2) = 77 m^2

The "area of the shaded shape" is 77 m^2.

Find the number c that satisfies the conclusion of the Mean Value Theorem on the given interval. (Enter your answers as a comma-
coldgirl [10]

Answer:

c is all the points in the open interval (0,25)

Step-by-step explanation:

Here given is a function

f(x) =x, which is continuous  in the interval [0,25] and differentiable in (0,25)

Mean value theorem says there exists at least one c in the interval (0,25) such that

f'(c) = \frac{f(25)-f(0)}{25-0}

We have

f(25)=25 and f(0) = 0\\f'(c) = 1

For the given function

f'(x) =1

Hence we have c equals all the points in the open interval (0,25)

Pls help me solve 5.a and 5.b
Tamiku [17]
You would add both totals since they said how much was the bill includingall the totals. So $192.77+ 48.19= 240.96
Since there is 12 people that need to chip in each, you would divide that total by 12.
240.96/12 = $20.08 each person would have to pay
Hope this helped!
