18) when you factor the denominator, you get (x+3)((x-2). Since it doesn’t cancel out with any product in the numerator, the discontinuity would be non removable.
19) In this function, x can equal any value, since the denominator will never equal 0. So it’s continuous.
20) then for this one when you factor, you get 2(x-1)(x+1)/ (x+3)((x-1), so it has a removable at x=1 and a non removable one at x=-3.

This is my last question I need help with.
Viktor [21]

Answer:

Option 1

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula of constant porpotionality is

y = kx

or

y = \frac{k}{x}

where k is the constant of porpotionality.

This equation is direct variation so we will use

y = kx

The equation is in the form

y = 1.5x

1.5 is in k place so the constant of porpotionality is 1.5

Here’s what you can do to make this very simple. Consider that the “missing” space between the rectangles isn’t there. Then, find the area:

10 x 9 = 90 mm

Now, find the area of the “missing” part.

5 x 2 = 10 mm

Finally, you deduct the missing part from the complete rectangle!

90 - 10 = 80 mm

The area of this whole thing is 80 mm!

Triangles G H L and K H J are connected at point H. Angles Angles L G H and H K J are congruent. Sides G H and H K are congruent
stira [4]

The congruence theorem that can be used is: B. ASA

What is the ASA Congruence Theorem?

If we have two triangles that have two pairs of corresponding congruent angles (e.g. ∠LGH ≅ ∠HKJ and ∠LHG ≅ ∠KHJ), and a pair of corresponding congruent sides (e.g. GH ≅ HK), the triangles are said to be congruent triangles by the ASA congruence theorem.

Therefore, triangles GHL and KHL in the image given are congruent triangles by the ASA congruence theorem.
