English

kirza4 [7]3 years ago

Answer:

Explanation:

Both Casual and intimate speech style are used in an informal setting (unofficial scenario between colleagues, friends or members of a social group). Both types of speech usually do not require a lot of coordination or measured approach, arrangement or careful selection of phrases as could be required in an official or formal set up. However, it is worthy of noting that intimate and casual aren't the same, even though both are speeches are operated on an informal level, the intimate speech style is often used between people who share a very close relationship, this include very close friend or family member, between spouses and so on. Casual speeches may occur between colleagues and those we share a lesser degree of intimacy with. Content and mode of intimate speeches are often more informal and as such very loose than between casual speeches.

Nataly [62]

There are different ways you could join the sentences, there's no exact answer. For number 1 I would write "Argentinosaurus, who is a herbivore, is the largest dinosaur discovered so far." For number 2 I'd write "The great white shark is the largest predatory fish, who is smaller than the whale shark."

Hope that helps!

Why does Jonas's community choose a single Receiver to hold all the memories instead of sharing them?
exis [7]

Answer:

The Giver explains in Chapter 14 that Jonas and The Giver must hold all the memories even though:... Even the Elderly people, who make all of the community at large judgements, do not have these communitarian memories. They focus on the Person giving to give them information based on his knowledge of earlier experiences.
