Both teams try to score and whoever scores the most wins, if there is touching aggressively causing to disrupt a players chance at scoring they get to shoot two or three shots in the paint with no disruptions and it depends on how many shots they get from where the foul occurred. 5 players on the court at once for both teams if the ball goes off the court and out of play the team that was on defense (trying to keep team from scoring) then gets the possession of the ball from the offense (team trying to score) and then they switch roles. Players from the bench may be substituted if coach calls a timeout or a “dead ball” happens which means the ball is not in play so a substitution would be appropriate during free throws or during a time out

The one who walks away from omelas summary
Ksivusya [100]

One child is chosen from the population to serve as a sacrifice that will allow the rest of the city to live in peace and plenty. The child is placed in a small, windowless room without any amenities and is completely cut off from the rest of society except for the short visits from those who come to view the child. When they learn of the child’s existence, the people of Omelas battle with the knowledge of The child, who suffers for them, and the guilt they feel as a result of their knowledge. However, most of them eventually overcome their guilt. They live fully, celebrate life, and work to achieve beauty and greatness in an effort to justify the sacrifice of The child. They are no longer capable of true happiness after they learn about The child, but they are capable of contentment. There are some people who leave the city. Some leave when they first learn of the child’s existence and some leave after a long battle with their guilt. But they all leave on solitary journeys as they make their way through the city and the surrounding fields and out into the unknown. These people disappear and never return. Their fate and their paths are unknown

What problem do Pyramus and Thisbe face in the beginning of the story? What theme could this relate to?
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

Their family did not allow them to get married. This may relate to the theme of forbidden love or family conflict.

Explanation:

Pyramus and Thisbe is an old tale that inspired Shakespeare to write Romeo and Juliet.

Pyramus and Thisbe were neighbors and fell in love, but their family did not get along and so they forbade them to marry and even communicate, but they spoke through a hole in the wall that separated the two houses. One day the couple agreed to run away together, but a misunderstanding caused both to die.

A theme that can come out of this type of story is forbidden love, but conflicts between families can also be noticed.
