Just did the math! 75 percent is 75/100 and since you are trying to find the total amount of hours, its 9/?. How do you get 75 to 9? You divide by 8.3! 100/8.3 is 12.048, which rounds up to 12! It takes him 12 hours to complete his work!

Twenty-five sixth-grade students answered the question: "How many hours do you generally spend on homework each week?"
Arada [10]

Answer:

It is a data set that can be shown as its mean after totals are multiplied. It can also be part of a question set of discrete data where all data is totaled up and further info shown to find a mean of each school. To find such mean it uses the third set of data to replace the 2nd data (students 1-25) replacing with no of students (with reference to lining up with the first list being list one hours 1, 2,3,4,5 etc. Here when say larger data says 250 students in the borough spend 1 hr we can multiple these factors to get the first multiplication value to multiply that with the totals added under each title. So it would read h x s x h(s) to find such discrete mean.

A line which passes through at least two points of a curve
UNO [17]

Answer:

A line which passes through at least two points of a curve is called secant line.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided statement.

A secant, is a line that passes through two curve points.

It connects two points in the Cartesian plane on a curve where the curve can be describe by a function.

A secant line commonly refers to a line that intersects a circle at exactly two points.

Remember: The secant line is almost the same as a tangent line when two points are closed together.

Hence, A line which passes through at least two points of a curve is called secant line.

A circle has a sector with area 33 pi and central angle of 11/6 pi radians. What is the area of the circle?
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

The area of the circle is 36\pi\ units^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The area of a circle subtends a central angle of 2\pi radians

so

By proportion find the area of the circle

\frac{33\pi }{(11\pi /6)}=\frac{x}{2\pi}\\ \\ x=2\pi*( 33*6)/11\\ \\x=36\pi\ units^{2}
