y = mx + b is  the "slope-intercept" form of the equation of a line ;

We have y = -x + 6 ;

Then, m = - 1 ;

The "point-slope" form of the equation of a straight line is:

y - y1 = m(x - x1) ;  

But, x1 = - 3 and y1 = 8 ;

We have y - 8 = (-1)( x + 3 );

Finally, y - 8 = -( x + 3 );

The right answer is the fourth choice;
