Answer:

<BAC = 36degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the diagram attached

The sum of the interior angle is equal to the exterior. Hence;

<B + <C = <DAB

6x+40 + x+20 = 180 - 3x

7x+60 = 180 - 3x

7x+3x = 180 - 60

10x = 120

x = 120/10

x = 12

Get <BAC

<BAC = 180 - (180-3x)

<BAC = 180-180+3x

<BAC = 3x

<BAC = 3(12)

<BAC = 36degrees

Please help me out please
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

\frac{8}{81}

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the sequence is geometric there is a common ratio r between consecutive terms.

r = \frac{1}{3} ÷ \frac{1}{2}

  = \frac{1}{3} × \frac{2}{1} = \frac{2}{3}

Multiplying \frac{4}{27} by r gives the next term in the sequence

\frac{4}{27} × \frac{2}{3} = \frac{8}{81}

The length and width of a rectangle have a sum of 90. What dimensions give the maximum area?
tekilochka [14]
w-width\\l-length\\\\2w+2l=90\\2l=90-2w\ \ \ \ /:2\\l=45-w\\\\A=wl\to A=w(45-w)=45w-w^2

Area\ of\ a\ rectangle\ is\ a\ square\ function.\\The\ maximum\ area\ is\ equal\ to\ the\ y-coordinate\ of\ vertex\\and\ "w"\ is\ equal\ to\ the\ x-coordinate\ of\ vertex.\\\\A(w)=45w-w^2\\\\a=-1;\ b=45;\ c=0\\\\x-coordinate\ of\ vertex:\frac{-b}{2a}\\\\w=\frac{-45}{2\cdot(-1)}=\frac{-45}{-2}=22.5\\\\l=45-22.5=22.5\\\\Solution:22.5\times22.5\ \ (This\ rectangle\ is\ a\ square).

Answer:

312

Step-by-step explanation:

T.S.A : ( 2 × L × w ) + ( 2 × h × w ) + ( 2 × L × h ) = Area

9 - 3 = 6 - 3 = 3

( 2 × 12 × 3 ) + ( 2 × 8 × 3 ) + ( 2 × 12 × 8 ) = Area

72 + 48 + 192 = 312
