katrin [286]

A patient is prescribed corticosteroid therapy. The patient that is at an increased risk for developing infection would be priority information for the nurse to give the patient who is prescribed long-term corticosteroid therapy.

Rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), asthma, allergies, and many other conditions are treated with corticosteroid medications. Additionally, these medications aid in immune system suppression, which helps transplant recipients avoid organ rejection. Additionally, corticosteroids are used to treat Addison's disease, a relatively uncommon condition in which the adrenal glands fail to produce even the smallest quantity of corticosteroids required by the body.

Depending on the condition being treated, there are many different ways to administer corticosteroids:

by mouth Inflammation and pain related to some chronic conditions, such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, are treated with tablets, capsules, or syrups. by nasal spray and inhaler. These medications aid in reducing asthmatic and allergic rhinitis-related inflammation.

Connor and Mandy are two unrelated 13-month old infants. Connor can already walk easily, but Mandy has yet to take her first ste
Tasya [4]

Answer:

The difference between Connor and Mandy walking is because of their motor skills developing at different times.

Explanation:

Motor skills are the movements and action of the bone structure. They are involved in the movement of the muscles as well. The delay in on infants movement as compared to another does not indicate any serious issue.

Motor skills develop in their own time. Since every child has a different body structure, the development stages vary too.

Use one long sentence to explain how the following terms work together: corpus luteum, Graafian follicle, oocyte, ovarian follic
shutvik [7]

In this question we will explain the common ovulation cycle, and what is the chain of events between corpus luteum, Graafian follicle, oocyte, ovarian follicles, ovulation.

What is ovulation?

As follicle cells grow, estradiol production is observed. Estradiol is released slowly throughout the follicular phase of the ovarian cycle. This phase is characterized by follicle growth and oocyte maturation.

After ovulation, the so-called luteal phase of the ovarian cycle begins. In it, the LH hormone acts by stimulating the follicular tissue of the ruptured follicle to form the corpus luteum.

Ovulation is the time when the mature oocyte is released.

With this information, we can conclude that the common ovulation cycle, and what is the chain of events between corpus luteum, Graafian follicle, oocyte, ovarian follicles, ovulation.

Explain what the south african government is doing to promote equal access to basic services
Mumz [18]

Answer:

All they are doing is redistribution, not creation. They are enforcing fewer and fewer people to subsidise and pay for more and more people who do not pay for services. Meanwhile the service infrastructure is ageing and in the process of collapse as it was never designed for so many people, Lack of upgrade and maintenance is the last nail in the coffin.

Redistribution does not work. If you tax people more and more they will stop using the service and find alternatives. Look how many people are going off-grid. I am off grid. It now works out cheaper, I don’t have to suffer load shedding and water cutoffs, and I dont have to pay more and more and subsidise more and more people for less and less service. I don’t care anymore about their loadshedding and huge tariff hikes. The more they charge the faster I pay off my off grid system.

Because they insist on subsidising so many people, there is no money left for capital infrastructure. Policies that drive people off grid means that less and less of those prepared to pay are now contributing to as service they no longer want any part of.

The ANC has only themselves to blame for the utter collapse. Their policies, incompetence, cadre deployment of incompetents to government have brought about ruin. Apartheid left them functioning infrastructure that did well to last until now, well past the design life, and a well run efficient civil service. It shows how good their build quality and plans were. The stuff put in by ANC BEE contractors lasts as long as a Made in China product. All they have done is given equal access to less and less so you have access to a failing collapsing product with no hope of salvation unless EVERYONE pays a fair price by what they use, and the ANC stops stealing that revenue. To expect them to stop stealing is like asking a cow to stop eating grass. It is their nature to graze on the veld maintained by others, not to grow anything themselves.
