Noah gets to work right on time every day. He always lets his boss know when he gets there. He starts by answering work emails.

Then, he goes on a social media site for a few minutes. He works hard for the rest of the time until lunch. He goes out for his lunch break, but always comes back 5 minutes late. He works again, but neglects the safety regulations. He ends his day by leaving 10 minutes early. What good and bad behaviors does Noah show? How should he have acted?

Answer:

Explanation:

Noah’s good behaviors are that he always lets his boss know when he gets to the office and he first catches up on all his emails so he doesn’t leave anyone hanging. He also works very hard before lunch. Although he does all these good thing he does a few bad thing like being t minutes late everyday after lunch and being on social media when he is supposed to work. He also neglects the safety regulations and leaves 10 minutes early. He should have come back on time after lunch and he should consider the safety regulations. And also he should leave on time when his office is finished, not before.

Which type of conflict is reflected in the passage? Mike’s campsite was on the other side of the raging river. Mike glanced at t
bazaltina [42]

Answer:

A. character versus nature

Explanation:

It is not B character versus society because "society" is the broad term for the world of people in general. For example, a society could be just how things work, like in the Hunger Games where people are forced to fight to death every year. This story is not versus society because there is no group of people deciding how things work. We rule out B.

The only character in this story is Mike. So, we can rule out C, character versus character. Character versus character means two characters facing off and fighting each other.

It is not D character versus self because Mike isn't his own enemy. He knows how to act on his own and to do the best thing for himself to survive. SO, we rule out D.

Now, the only answer left is A: character versus nature. We have the character, Mike, and we have the conflict: nature. What are the things that are causing Mike problems in the story? The setting sun is about to make everything pitch dark which will make it hard for Mike to see. Mike is stuck on one side of a river. He would be lost if he went on an unfamiliar track. These are all nature conflicts.

The answer is A character versus nature.

Levart [38]

Answer:

$1000

Explanation:

Given that :

Earning per month = $1000

Number of summer months = 3

Gross earning could be explained as an individual's total earning before making any deductions. Hence, for an individual who earn a monthly salary of $1000, and as not been subjected to any deduction such as tax, then the $1000 earning is the individual's gross earning.

From this explanation, we could conclude that Tina's $1000 monthly salary is her gross monthly income sincveit has not been subjected to any deduction and Tina has no other source of income.
