What do you like about STEM lessons?

What parts of lessons do you feel could be improved?
Paul [167]

Answer:

STEM lessons encourage kids to explore and solve problems through activities that are as authentic as possible. A project-based learning (PBL) approach that focuses on developing rigor in science and math works well.

STEM lessons focus on real-world issues and problems. In STEM lessons, students address real social, economic, and environmental problems and seek solutions. My biggest “aha” STEM moment came when I moved to a new position and faced a class of science students who had given up on school. I had the class identify a real-world problem right there on campus, and suddenly we found ourselves head over heels in a STEM project—before the familiar acronym had even burst onto the scene. See Real World STEM Problems for some suggestions for projects students might focus on.

Read the excerpt below and answer the question. "Hear me, my lords and captains of Phaeacia! By now you've had our fill of food
lesantik [10]
Hello there.

Read the excerpt below and answer the question. "Hear me, my lords and captains of Phaeacia! By now you've had our fill of food well-shared and the lyre too, our loyal friend at banquets...test ourselves in contests..." Why did the speaker above want the bard to stop singing? He noticed that the songs upset Odysseus. He was tired of sitting and wanted to participate in the games. He had a headache and couldn’t listen to the music any longer. He had eaten too much and wanted to feast to end.

How is dishonesty used in the play the othello?
damaskus [11]

The play's villain, Iago, is the epitome of dishonesty and his untruthful nature is contrasted with the innocent Cassio and Desdemona. He uses his skills in deception to lie to almost every other character in the play in particular Othello, but also to Roderigo and Cassio.

Which sentence demonstrates correct use of the semicolon?
vodka [1.7K]
A semicolon can be placed where a comma can be placed. My trick is to use this rule; replace the semicolon with a comma.

This leads me to:

B) There have been many accidents during airshows, for example, last year the wind toppled a tent and equipment on top of bystanders.

Let me know if you spot any errors or if this works out :)
