Employee A:
 Employee A produces 10 handbags per hour
 takes four 15-minute breaks
 eight hour day
 We have then that the quantity produced is:
 8 - 4 * 15 * (1/60) = 8 - 1 = 7 hours
 (10) * (7) = 70 handbags.
 Employee B:

Employee B produces 9 handbags per hour
 two 15-minute breaks
 eight hour day
 We have then that the quantity produced is:
 8 - 2 * 15 * (1/60) = 8 - 1/2 = 7.5 hours
 (9) * (7.5) = 67.5 handbags.
 Answer:

employee A produces more handbags in a day

Help me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Sholpan [36]

Answer:

1. 25

2. 9

Step-by-step explanation:

If I'm correct, to complete the square you need to use (\frac{b}{2} )^{2}

So, for #1, b is 10. \frac{10}{2} = 5. 5^{2} = 25.

For #2, b is -6. \frac{-6}{2} = -3. -3^{2} = 9.

Solve for x. 10x^2=29x-21 does anyone know this
Natasha2012 [34]
10x^2=29x-21 \\
10x^2-29x+21=0\\
\Delta=(-29)^2-4\cdot10\cdot21=841-840=1\\
\sqrt{\Delta}=\sqrt1=1\\
x_1=\frac{-(-29)-1}{2\cdot10}=\frac{28}{20}=\frac{7}{5}\\
x_2=\frac{-(-29)+1}{2\cdot10}=\frac{30}{20}=\frac{3}{2}\\

Which is the value of the expression ((10^4)(5^2)/(10^3)(5^3))^3
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's set this up to see if we can simplify it a bit:

(\frac{10^4*5^2}{10^3*5^3})^3

Notice we have 4 tens on top and 3 on bottom, so we can eliminate the bottom 3 altogether and leave just one on top.  And we have 2 fives on the top and 3 on bottom, so we can eliminate the 2 on the top and leave one on the bottom.  Now that looks like this:

(\frac{10}{5})^3

10 divided by 5 is 2, and 2 cubed is 8
