12(3-y)
= 36-12y

36 - 12y

To distribute multiply what is outside of the parentheses by what is inside them. 12 x 3 = 36
12 x -y = -12y

Find the slope<br> of each line (picture below thank u )
Alekssandra [29.7K]

1.  order pairs : (3,1), (-2,-1)

1 + 1 / 3 + 2 = 2 / 5 is the slope

2.  order pairs : (2,-3), (-3,2)

-3 - 2 / 2 + 3 = - 5 / 2 is the slope

3.  order pairs : (1,3), (-1,-2)

3 + 2 / 1 + 1 = 5 / 2 is the slope

I used the slope formula to get my answers.

To find the mean:

Take <span>3 4 5 3 4 5 6 5 4 3 2 3 4 5 6 4 8 4 3 2 and add them all together

=83

Now you divide 83 by the number of terms in the sample set, which is 20.

83/20 = 4.15

For rounding to the nearest tenth, look at the hundredths space, which is 5. Since it is 5 or higher, round the tenths up one.

final answer= 4.2 </span><span />

\displaystyle \pi \int_3^8 \left(\dfrac1{2x-1}\right)^2 \, dx = \pi \int_3^8 \frac{dx}{(2x-1)^2}

Substitute u = 2x-1 and du=2\,dx.

\displaystyle \pi \int_3^8 \frac{dx}{(2x-1)^2} = \frac\pi2 \int_5^{15} \frac{du}{u^2} \\\\ ~~~~~~~~ = -\frac\pi2 \frac1u \bigg|_5^{15} \\\\ ~~~~~~~~ = -\frac\pi2 \left(\frac1{15} - \frac15\right) = \boxed{\frac\pi{15}}
