Answer:

20v2−40v+20

Step-by-step explanation:

=(4v+−4)(5v+−5)

=(4v)(5v)+(4v)(−5)+(−4)(5v)+(−4)(−5)

=20v^2−20v−20v+20

= 20v^2-40v+20

You can easily do this by using the FOIL method.

F - first -  in this case, 4v and 5v

O - Outside - in this case, 4v and -5

I - Inside - in this case, -4 and 5v

L - Last - In this case, -4 and -5

Then you find the like terms and add them together and then you have your answer which is also in standard form.

A band expects to put 12 songs on their next CD. The band writes and records 25% more songs than they expect to put on the CD.
sweet-ann [11.9K]
12 songs. 25% of 12 is 3, so you add 3 to 12 and get 15. You then find that 20% of 15 is 3 so you subtract 3 from 15 and get 12 again.

Find the value of x
anygoal [31]

Answer:

1

Step-by-step explanation:

As per circle theorem rule, ∠GDE is twice than ∠GFE

10x +94 = 2 × (x+51)

10x + 94 = 2x + 102

8x = 8

x = 1

∠GDE= 10x+94° = 104°

∠GFE= x + 51° = 52°

Katie has read 32% of a book. If she has read 80 pages, how many more pages does Katie have left to read? Please explain
yawa3891 [41]
Keep note of these things before we start:
-Of is a keyword that tells us multiplication is being done
-x = total number of pages
-32% = 32/100 = .32

Okay, here we go:
32% of total number of pages = 80
.32 of x = 80
.32*x = 80
.32x = 80
.32x/.32 = 80/.32
x = 250

There are 250 pages in total in Katie's book.
To find out how many pages she has to read (y), subtract the pages read from the total:
TOTAL - PAGES READ = PAGES LEFT TO READ
250 - 80 = y
170 = y

Katie has 170 pages left to read
Hope this helps!
