Answer:19,4 or 4,19

Step-by-step explanation: Let the width of the rectangle be 'w' in

According to the question length of the rectangle (l) is one inch less than five times it's width;

l = (5w - 1) in

Perimeter of rectangle = 46 inches

Formula of perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Width)

So,

Width of the rectangle (w) = 4 in

Determine which numbers could not be used to represent the probability of an event. Select all that apply. A. StartFraction 64 O
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

A. \frac{64}{25} , because probability values cannot be greater than 1.

C. -1.5, because probability values cannot be less than 0.

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability is the extent to which an event is likely to happen. It ranges from 0(impossible) to 1(certain). Probability values can be written in decimal form or in fractional form.

The following numbers could not be used to represent the probability of an event.

A. \frac{64}{25} , because probability values cannot be greater than 1.

C. -1.5, because probability values cannot be less than 0.

Visual learning, local learners ,physical learners and auditory learners how can you use this information to help you success ma
Lina20 [59]
All of these are different methods of learning math. Visually, you can see graphs, charts, and geometric figures to help you learn. I'm not sure what a 'local learner' is. Physical learners can learn better by holding geometric figures, drawing graphs, etc. Auditory learners may learn best by listening to a teacher's lecture.

If you found this especially helpful, I'd appreciate if you'd vote me Brainliest for your answer. I want to be able to assist more users one-on-one, as well as to move up in rank! :)

The notation Ak meas the matrix A Multiplied with itself k times (a) For the 2×2 identity matrix I, show that I2 =I (b)For the n
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

Entries of I^k are are also identity elements.

Step-by-step explanation:

a) For the 2×2 identity matrix I, show that I² =I

I^{2}=\left[\begin{array}{cc}1&0\\0&1\end{array}\right] \times \left[\begin{array}{cc}1&0\\0&1\end{array}\right] \\\\=\left[\begin{array}{cc}1\times 1+0\times 0&1\times 0+0\times 1\\0\times 1+1\times 0&0\times 0+1\times1\end{array}\right] \\\\=\left[\begin{array}{cc}1&0\\0&1\end{array}\right]

Hence proved  I² =I

b) For the n×n identity matrix I, show that I² =I

n×n identity matrix is as shown in figure

Elements of identity matrix are

\delta I_{ij}=1\quad if\quad i=j\\\delta I_{ij}=0\quad if\quad i\ne j\\

As square of 1 is equal to 1 so for n×n identity matrix I, I² =I

(c) what do you think the enteries of Ik are?

As mentioned above

\delta I_{ij}=1\quad if\quad i=j\\\delta I_{ij}=0\quad if\quad i\ne j\\

Any power of 1 is equal to 1 so kth power of 1 is also 1. According to this Ik=I
