Answer:

Please find the complete question in the attachment.

Step-by-step explanation:

The likelihood of the part of claims that is less than 0.05 for all the houses is calculated as:

P(X < 0.05) = int^{0.05}_{0} int^{1-x}_{0} f(x,y) \ dy\ dx\\\\

                    = \int^{0.05}_{0} \int^{1-x}_{0} 6(1-x-y) \ dy\ dx\\\\= \int^{0.05}_{0} 6((1-x)-x(1-x)-\frac{(1-x)^2}{2}) \ dx\\\\ = \int^{0.05}_{0} 6(1-2x+x^2-0.5-0.5x^2+x) \ dx\\\\= \int^{0.05}_{0} 6(0.5x^2-x+0.5) \ dx\\\\= 6(0.5\times \frac{0.05^3}{3} -\frac{0.05^2}{2}+0.5 \times 0.05 )\\\\ =0.1426\\\\

Yes, she is correct
1/2 + 1/2 = 1 or 0.5 + 0.5 = 1 so half of a wall plus half of a wall equals one hole wall.

That's as simple as I can put it mathematical reasoning. I hope this helps

A ball weighs 15lb on earth and 5.7 pounds on mars. What is the constant proportionality between weight of an object on mars and
krok68 [10]
So its asking you to find the gravity on earth relative to the gravity on mars.

Set up an equation to figure out the difference between the two gravities

15x=5.7
\\x=5.7/15
x=.38

I don't know what constant of proportionality is in this context but a ball on mars would weigh .38 the amount that it does on earth.
