Answer:

A.They covered in spikes

B.They have thick pleated stems C.They have big waxy leafs

Explanation:

The plant have reduced needle-like structures of leave called spines that limit water loss, that occur during the process of transpiration and so prevent predator from attacking them.

Cactus stem are thick and swollen containing many collapsible water-storage cells that stores water for a relatively long period prevention it from complete dryness.

The stem is green and performs photosynthesis and the plant leaf is covered with thick waxy cuticle which helps to conserve water and protect it from drying from the scorching heat of the sun.

Note: Please paraphrase

Summary of Event:

The Battles of Saratoga (September 19 and October 7, 1777) marked the climax of the Saratoga campaign, giving a decisive victory to the Americans over the British in the American Revolutionary War. British General John Burgoyne led a large invasion army southward from Canada in the Champlain Valley, hoping to meet a similar British force marching northward from New York City and another British force marching eastward from Lake Ontario; the southern and western forces never arrived, and Burgoyne was surrounded by American forces in upstate New York. He fought two small battles to break out which took place 18 days apart on the same ground, 9 miles (14 km) south of Saratoga, New York. They both failed.

Quick Facts:

It was a turning point in the war

To celebrate the American victory at Saratoga, the Continental Congress issued a proclamation for a national day "for solemn Thanksgiving and praise," the first official holiday observance with that name.
