This is in terms of the function going to where the dot is, not going to lie, it's kinda confusing so don't nail me if i"m wrong anyway, the curve on the graph represents x^2 and it shifts up 2 units vertically which is the reason why we add 2 to the function.
You will do 60/2 to = 30 because the ratio of peaches to cherries is 2:3 and they need to have a unknown number of peaches lets say thats “x” therefore 60/2=x ,x=30 cups of peaches
