Answer:

Total cycling time = 5 hrs + 19 mins + 18 secs

Step-by-step explanation:

i). Shortest distance cycled = 15.05 miles

ii). Longest time cycled for = 2:09:12 hrs : mins: secs

iii). Time taken by David on 28/04/2018 = 1 hrs + 3 minutes + 25 secs

    Time taken by David on 03/05/2018 = 2 hrs + 6 minutes + 41 secs

    Time taken by David on 08/05/2018 = 2 hrs + 9 minutes + 12 secs

     Total cycling time = (1 + 2 + 2) hrs : (3 + 6 + 9) minutes + (25 + 41 + 12) secs

                                    = 5 hrs + 18 mins + 78 secs

     Since, 78 seconds = 60 secs + 18 secs

                                     = 1 minute + 18 secs

     Therefore, total cycling time = 5 hrs + 19 mins + 18 secs
