madreJ [45]

Answer:

The correct option is A) Nominal.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

Researchers studying the effectiveness of a diet on heart disease divided the study's participants into two groups those with Type A personalities and those with Type B personalities.

Type of measurement scales:

Ratio: We can compare quantity as a multiple of one another.

For example: A father's weight is twice to his son.

Interval: Interval is the measurement scale in which each of the position is equidistant from another.

Level of excitement, rated from 1 to 5.

Ordinal: Ordinal measurement scale in which sets are in order by their position.

For example: First, second, third in a competition.

Nominal: Nominal data are objects distinguished by a straightforward scheme of naming.

For example: The employees in a office can be male or female.

Now, from the above definition it is clear that the type of measurement scale which can depict the scenario is Nominal.

Hence, the correct option is A) Nominal.

I need to find the overall answer and explanation of how to get it
mixas84 [53]
Okay this one is simple once when you get an understanding of what they are asking. First divide the numerators by the denominators. 2/5=0.4 this is terminating because there are no numbers after it ends at 4. 7/45 is 0.15555556... this is repeating because it keeps on going. 5/99 is 0.05050505... repeating. Lastly 27/250 is 0.108 this is terminating because it stops. :) Hope this helps.

Who can help me complete 4 to 10
iogann1982 [59]

Answer:

4 - 5 = 40 books about travel. 80 are school stories.

6-7 = 30 are about nature. 48

8 =24

9 = 18

10 = 2001

Step-by-step explanation:

4,5,6,7,8

1/10 = 24 = sport

1/8 = 30 =nature

1/6= 40 =travel

1/5 = 48 = adventure

1/3 = 80 = schools stories

To get that you just have to read the question, find the fractions, percentages etc.

I put them all into fractions and divide 240 by the denominator.

9

For question 9, you just have to add all of the amounts of books together and take that away from the total amount. In this case it is 240 - 222 = 18

10

You just have to write it out.
