Answer: 180 pushups

Step-by-step explanation: First set up a proportion. The proportion would be 30 pushups over 60 seconds  equal x over 360 seconds. Then you would cross multiply which is 60 times x which is 60x .After that do 30 times 360 which is 10,800.Now you have 60x = 10,800.NOw divide both sides by 60 which gives you 180 as x.

Hope it helps and pic is down below if want to understand more :)

Darian gets paid $6.35 an hour to help out at his dad's shop. He also mows his neighbor's lawn each week for $25. He earned $119
nevsk [136]
$119.85 is the total amount he earned in 2 weeks
He mows his neighbor's lawn each week for $25...So if he mows for 2 weeks it should be
$25×2=$50
Darian gets paid $6.35 an hour to help out at his dad's shop...
Let X be the number of hours Darian worked at his dad's shop in the two weeks
So we can now make an equation to find X

(X×$6.35)+($25×2)=$119.85
(X×$6.35)+$50=$119.85
X×$6.35=$119.85-$50
X×$6.35=$69.85
X=$69.85÷$6.35
X=11

Therefore the number of hours Darian worked at his dad's shop in those two weeks is 11

Find the domain and range of the relation: {(–20, 11), (6, –8), (1, –20), (–13, 13)}
user100 [1]

Answer:

D: {-20, -13, 1, 6}

R: {-20, -8, 11, 13}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the relation, {(–20, 11), (6, –8), (1, –20), (–13, 13)}, all x-values (inputs) make up the domain of the relation while all y-values make up the range of the relation.

Therefore:

Domain: {-20, -13, 1, 6}

Range: {-20, -8, 11, 13}

Jose wants to rewrite 24+9 using the greatest common factor and the distributive property. Which expression should he write?
Reil [10]
First get the factors of 24: 2*2*2*3Then the factors of 9: 3*3 Comparing the factors, the GCF is 3 Then you can rewrite the expression: 3*8 + 3*3 At this point, I'm not sure whether what you mean is really distributive property or not since this case is more of a factoring. 3*(8+3)
