What is the m<R???????
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

128

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey There!

So the rule about interior angles of a trapezoid

is that the angles that lie on the segments that are not parallel are supplements

so essentially what I'm saying is that angle R and angle U are supplementary angles so to find x we do

180=15x+8+7x-4

step 1 combine like terms

15+7=22

8-4=4

now we have

180=22x+4

step 2 subtract 4 from each side

180-4=176

now we have

176=22x

step 3 divide each side by 22

176/22=8

so x=8

now we plug in 8 to 15x+8

8x15=120

120+8=128

so we can conclude that angle R = 128

Aleonysh [2.5K]

Given:

m\angle L=m\angle Z=70^\circ

m\angle N=m\angle Y=90^\circ

To find:

The value of m\angle 1.

Solution:

In triangle XYZ,

m\angle Y=m\angle N=90^\circ        (Given)

m\angle Z=m\angle L=70^\circ         (Given)

m\angle X+m\angle Y+m\angle Z=180^\circ        [Angle sum property]

m\angle 1+90^\circ+70^\circ=180^\circ

m\angle 1+160^\circ=180^\circ

m\angle 1=180^\circ-160^\circ

m\angle 1=20^\circ

Therefore, the m\angle 1 is 20°.

A bag contains 7 red marbles, 3 blue marbles and 2 green. If two marbles are drawn out of the bag, what is the probability, to t
Setler [38]

Answer:

0.0455

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>The formula for calculator probability is </u>

# of favorable outcomes / # of possible outcomes

<u>The total number of marbles in the bag: </u>

7+3+2=12

<u>Probability of the first marble being blue:</u>

3/12

<u>Probability of the second marble being blue:</u>

2/11 -- 2 because only 2 blue marbles left after drawing the first one out, 11 because after taking the first marble out, we have 11 marbles left in the bag

<u>Formula for both events happening:</u>

p(A and B) = p(A) * p(B)

In this problem,

A = first one blue

B = second one blue

<u>Probability that if two marbles are drawn out of the bag, both are blue:</u>

3/12 x 2/11 = 0.045454

<u>Rounded answer:</u>

0.0455 (or 4.55%)
