The vertices of the triangle in the diagram below are A(7,9), B(3,3), and C(11,3).
alex41 [277]

Answer:

(7 , 5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Add all the x-axis then divide by 3

7 + 3 + 11 = 21

21/3 = 7

Add all the y-axis then divide by 3

9 + 3 + 3 = 15

15/3 = 5

So answer will be (7,5)

Answer:

<u>TO FIND :-</u>

  • Length of all missing sides.

<u>FORMULAES TO KNOW BEFORE SOLVING :-</u>

  • \sin \theta = \frac{Side \: opposite \: to \: \theta}{Hypotenuse}
  • \cos \theta = \frac{Side \: adjacent \: to \: \theta}{Hypotenuse}
  • \tan \theta = \frac{Side \: opposite \: to \: \theta}{Side \: adjacent \: to \: \theta}

<u>SOLUTION :-</u>

1) θ = 16°

Length of side opposite to θ = 7

Hypotenuse = x

=> \sin 16 = \frac{7}{x}

=> \frac{7}{x} = 0.27563......

=> x = \frac{7}{0.27563....} = 25.39568..... ≈ 25.3

2) θ = 29°

Length of side opposite to θ = 6

Hypotenuse = x

=> \sin 29 = \frac{6}{x}

=> \frac{6}{x} = 0.48480......

=> x = \frac{6}{0.48480....} = 12.37599..... ≈ 12.3

3) θ = 30°

Length of side opposite to θ = x

Hypotenuse = 11

=> \sin 30 = \frac{x}{11}

=> \frac{x}{11} = 0.5

=> x = 0.5 \times 11 = 5.5

4) θ = 43°

Length of side adjacent to θ = x

Hypotenuse = 12

=> \cos 43 = \frac{x}{12}

=> \frac{x}{12} = 0.73135......

=> x = 12 \times 0.73135.... = 8.77624.... ≈ 8.8

5) θ = 55°

Length of side adjacent to θ = x

Hypotenuse = 6

=> \cos 55 = \frac{x}{6}

=> \frac{x}{6} = 0.57357......

=> x = 6 \times 0.57357.... = 3.44145.... ≈ 3.4

6) θ = 73°

Length of side adjacent to θ = 8

Hypotenuse = x

=> \cos 73 = \frac{8}{x}

=> \frac{8}{x} = 0.29237......

=> x = \frac{8}{0.29237.....} = 27.36242..... ≈ 27.3

7) θ = 69°

Length of side opposite to θ = 12

Length of side adjacent to θ = x

=> \tan 69 = \frac{12}{x}

=> \frac{12}{x} = 2.60508......

=> x = \frac{12}{2.60508....}  = 4.60636.... ≈ 4.6

8) θ = 20°

Length of side opposite to θ = 11

Length of side adjacent to θ = x

=> \tan 20 = \frac{11}{x}

=> \frac{11}{x} = 0.36397......

=> x = \frac{11}{0.36397....}  =30.22225.... ≈ 30.2

6. Find the HCF of : (a) 21xy³ and 24x²y² (b) 18ab and 36abc <br>(c) 4p³q²r , -12pr² , 16p²q²r²r²
Simora [160]

Step-by-step explanation:

<h2><u>➤ </u><u>Solution :-</u></h2><h2>a)</h2>

Given monomials are 21 xy³ and 24x²y²

21 xy³ = 3×7×x×y×y×y

24x²y² = 3×8×x×x×y×y

HCF of 21xy³ and 24x²y²

=> 3×x×y×y

=> 3xy²

HCF of 21xy³ and 24x²y² = 3xy²

<h2>b)</h2>

Given monomials are 18 ab and 36abc

18 ab = 18×a×b

36abc = 2×18×a×b×c

HCF of 18 ab and 36abc

=> 18×a×b

=> 18ab

HCF of 18 ab and 36abc = 18ab

<h2>c)</h2>

Given monomials are 4p³q²r , -12pqr² and 16p²q²r²

4p³q²r = 4×p×p×p×q×q×r

-12pqr² = -3×4×p×q×r×r

16p²q²r² = 4×4×p×p×q×q×r×r

HCF of 4p³q²r , -12pqr² and 16p²q²r²

=> 4×p×q×r

=> 4pqr

HCF of 4p³q²r , -12pqr² and 16p²q²r² = 4pqr

<h2><u>Used Concept :-</u></h2>

→ The HCF of two or more numbers is the highest Common factor

→ The product of least common factors is the HCF of the numbers

Assume line q is parallel to line m. Choose from the drop-down menus to solve for m∠6:
egoroff_w [7]

1st part: you do 180 - 110 = 70

Why you subtract 180 from 110 is linear adds up to 180, so 70 + 110 would get 180 if that makes sense.

2nd part: 180 - 115 = 65

This is similar concept to what I explained with the first part.

3rd part: Triangle sum theorem is 180

4th part: To get angle 7 I believe you just subtract

180 - 70 - 65 = 45

5th part: 7 and 6 I believe are vertical angles and vertical angles are congruent which would make 6 = 7

6 would also = 45

Although I cannot see the options for each of the question(s) choices, I hope this can help you. :)
