2,4,8,16,..,.., we examine that if we multiply 2 and the first term of the sequence, we get the second term of the sequence that is 4, if we again multiply 2 and the second term, we get the third term of the sequence that is 8 and similarly by doing the same process we get the fourth term of the sequence. Following the same pattern,if we multiply 2 and the fourth term together that is multiplying 2 and 16, we get 32 which is the required fifth term of the sequence and again multiplying 32 with 2 we get 64, which is the required sixth term of the sequence.

From this, we get that if we multiply 2 with the previous term, we get the next term of the sequence.
