Based on this article, Oprah’s early life was filled with emotional devastation. She went through emotional trauma at a young age and was living in an unstable environment. She was sent to live with her father, which helped her by creating a structured learning environment for her, which led to her becoming an honor student. After high school, she went into a broadcasting career that started her life of reporting and newscasting.
