"I overheard him on the bus talking to these two guys, saying how much he liked you and didn't know who you were, and I ,well, I thought that it wouldn't hurt to say, so I said." Brittany's hands were sweaty; she felt a little dizzy with fear; Shannon was going to be so mad. "How dare you, you cow! You, you, oh!" and Shannon began to cry.
