Let visitors in May = X

Difference in visitors number in June = 3.75% decrease

So, we can calculate the visitors number in may by using following formula,

Number of visitors in June = X - 3.75%X

121660 = 96.25%X

X = (121660 × 100) ÷ 96.25

X = 126400

Hence, Number of visitors in may = 126400

(B). Difference in visitors in July than in May = 4.5% increase

So, Number of visitors in July = 126400 + (126400 × 4.5%)

= 126400 + 5688

= 132088

Now, we will calculate increase in percentage by using following formula,

Increase percentage = (132088 - 121660)  ÷ 121660

= 10428 ÷ 121660
