7. Find the measure of KLM and M

Mathematics

Answer:

m∠KLM = 64° ; m∠M = 26°

Step-by-step explanation:

(20x + 4)° = (6x + 4)° + (8x + 18)°

20x + 4 = 14x + 22

6x = 18

x = 3

m∠KLM = (20×3 + 4)° = 64°

m∠M = 90° - 64° = 26°

A Little League baseball coach wants to know if his team is representative of other teams in scoring runs. Nationally, the avera
Veseljchak [2.6K]

Answer:

Yes, it is likely due to the significant difference in their average scores.

Step-by-step explanation:

The average number of runs scored by a Little League team in a game is 5.7. If he chooses five games at random in which his team scored 5 , 9, 4, 11, and 8 runs, their average score of the five games is expressed as shown;

Average score of 5 games = (5+9+4+11+8)/5

Average score of 5 games = 37/5

Average score of 5 games = 7.4

Comparing the average score in 5 games to the the average number of runs scored nationally, it can be seen that their difference is 7.4 - 5.7 which is 1.7. Since the difference is quite significant, then it is most likely that his team's scores is different from the national distribution.

Why is it helpful to write numbers in different ways
Goshia [24]
You should write numbers in as many ways as you possibly can to make new connections in your brain. Knowing how to write numbers in many different ways can help you solve complex problems more easily. Doing this can also reinforce the mathematical principles and logic you have memorised.

Writing one in many different ways:

1=1/1=2/2=3/3=4/4=(-1)/(-1)=(-2)/(-2)

=1.0=1.00=1.000=(1/2)+(1/2)=(1/3)+(1/3)+(1/3)

=(1/4)+(1/4)+(1/4)+(1/4)

Writing a half in many different ways:

1/2=(1/4)+(1/4)=(1/6)+(1/6)+(1/6)

=(1/8)+(1/8)+(1/8)+(1/8)=4*(1/8)

=2/4=3/6=4/8=5/10=0.5=0.50

etc...etc...

ALSO WORTH 50 POINTS Which graph matches the inequality: 2(4x - 5) < 14x + 8?
ss7ja [257]

Answer:

The correct answer is: C

Step-by-step explanation:

2(4x - 5) < 14x + 8

First multiply 2 by 4x and -5

8x - 10 < 14x + 8

Now find out what x is

Move 14x to the left

8x - 14x - 10 = 8

Then move 10 to the right and change it's sign to plus

8x - 14x = 8 + 10

Now combine like terms

-6x = 18

Now divide 18 by 6 to get x

x = 18/-6

x = -3
