<h2><u>Given</u> :</h2>

The given equations are :

\longrightarrow15b + 10g = 8640 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   - (1)

\longrightarrow b + g = 708 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  - (2)

Let's solve for g in equation (2) :

\longrightarrow b + g = 708

\longrightarrow g = 708 - b \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  - (3)

now, let's plug value of g from equation (3) into equation (1) :

\longrightarrow15b + 10g = 8640

\longrightarrow15b + 10(708 - b) = 8640

\longrightarrow15b - 10b + 7080 = 8640

\longrightarrow5b = 1560

\longrightarrow b = 312

plugging value of b in equation (3) :

\longrightarrow g = 708 - b

\longrightarrow g = 708 - 312

\longrightarrow g =39 6

since " g " represents ground seats, number of ground seats :

=》396

And " b " represents balcony seat, therefore it is equal to :

=》312

There is a proportional relationship between the number of oatmeal raisin cookies Jane buys, x, and their total cost (in dollars
FinnZ [79.3K]

Given proportional relationship between the number of oatmeal raisin cookies Jane buys, x, and their total cost (in dollars), y shows you that

y=x.

You can check it:

  • when x=6 cookies, then y=$6 (x=y);
  • when x=8 cookies, then y=$8 (x=y);
  • when x=15 cookies, then y=$15 (x=y);
  • when x=18 cookies, then y=$18 (x=y).

Answer: y=x.

Question 4
laiz [17]

Answer:

I just solved a question similar to this

Let's understand it

It's saying she got 660 or it is that her weekly pay is 660

So now let weekly pay which is P be 660

Hence the formulae is given

It's 480 + 18 (h – 30) = 660

Now its just boring calculation

If you mark it brainleist I will do the calculation for you wink wink

Never mind

480 + 18 (h – 30) = 660

18 (h – 30) = 660-480

18 (h – 30) = 120

(h – 30) = 120/18

(h – 30) = 6.6

h = 6.6+30

h= 36.6

So dam the Judy lady worked for 36.6 hours
