Resource management is the set of processes for identifying, procuring and managing the resources of a project. There are two types of resources: team resources and physical resources. Team resources are human resources, that is, the people who provide services. When composing a project team, individuals are given roles and responsibilities. Physical resources are the materials, supplies, facilities and equipment needed to carry out a project. An example of how to manage physical resources and provide improvements in their functioning, such as promoting the maintenance of company computers.
