Answer:

15 min

Step-by-step explanation:

6 laps in 5 minutes

if your trying to find how many min it takes for laps you can do

6 + 6 + 6 = 18 or 6*3 = 18

add a 5 for every 6 you see

so 5 + 5 + 5 = 15 or 5*3= 15

it takes your friend 15 min to complete 18 laps

Hope this Helps!!!

I don’t understand this problem at all.

The answer is:

D. 5 hours

The equation should be:

(70x) - (20x) = 250

Because we have all the possible answers, we can plug one of them into x to see if it equals 250 miles.

Use an educated guess. I'm going to go with 5 because it seems reasonable.

(70 * 5) - (20 * 5) = 250

Let's check to see if it equals 250:

 • 70 * 5 = 350
 • 20 * 5 = 100
 • 350 - 100 = 250

Therefore, the answer is D. 5 hours.
