Find the slope and y intercept of the line represented by each table
zvonat [6]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Calculate m using the slope formula

(1)

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (2, 22) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (4, 32) ← 2 ordered pairs from the table

m = \frac{32-22}{4-2} = \frac{10}{2} = 5, thus

y = 5x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute any ordered pair from the table into the partial equation

Using (6, 42), then

42 = 30 + c ⇒ c = 42 - 30 = 12

Thus Table 1 has slope = 5 and y- intercept = 12

(2)

Using (x₁, y₁ ) = 2, 15) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (1,8) ← 2 ordered pairs from the table

m = \frac{8-15}{1-2} = \frac{-7}{-1} = 7, thus

y = 7x + c ← is the partial equation

To find c substitute (3, 22) into the partial equation

22 = 21 + c ⇒ c = 22- 21 = 1

Thus Table 2 has slope = 7 and y- intercept = 1

According to the image:
the right hexagonal pyramid surface area is given by the following formula:

S = 3√3 / 2) a² + 3a √h²+3a²/4
a = the base edge
h = the height of the pyramid

looking at the image  a =6m,  h =21m - 7m= 14m

so the surface area is S = 3√3 / 2) 6² + 3*6√14²+3*6²/4 =93.53+ 14.93=108.46 m²

for the another one
the figure is a prism hexagonal
its surface area is
SA= 6ah +3√3 a²
a= base edge, h =height
in our case a =6m and h = 7m
so SA= 6*6*7 + 3√3 * 6²= 252 + 187 = 439 m²

finally, the surface area of the complete image is
ST= S + SA = 108.46 m² + 439 m² = 547.52 m²
it is so approximate
 to <span>B. 615.53 m2

Please help me with problem 2 of graphs
Zarrin [17]
Hello!

First you have to find point h.

The you go from the center can count how many spaces over you go

Since you go 4 to the left the first number is -4

Then you count how many spaces you go up or down

Since you goes down once the second number is -1

So the answer is (-4, -1)

Hope this helps!
