Francis Lubbock's actions affected Texas' history when he mobilized a frontier regiment of cavalry to combat a group of Indians. The relationship with the tribes was no good. Lubbock tried to expand the industrial resources to activate the economy. He also sold U.S. bonds that were acquired in 1850, because the treasure vault was depleted.
