It is absolutely true that you can be infected by a virus and not even know it. Some of the known viruses can remain dormant for a long time. During this phase it is not possible for a human being to know that the virus has already entered the body. It is sometimes also called the gestation period. When the virus comes out of this dormant period, then only it is possible for the human beings to know that they have been attacked by a virus. Sometimes this late discovery can be very fatal and even lead to death. This dormant form of virus is very difficult to initially understand.

Bad White [126]

Answer:

The correct option is C) C-shaped cartilage rings

Explanation:

The trachea is commonly known as the wind-pipe. The trachea can be described as about a 4 inch long passage from which the air travels into the bronchi and lungs. The pathway of the trachea is kept open by C- shaped cartilages which are lined all over in the trachea. The C-shaped cartilages protects as well as maintain the shape of the wind-pipe. The rigidity of the trachea arises from the C-shaped cartilages.

State the function of nitrogen fixation
Verizon [17]

Plants need nitrogen in order to grow. Nitrogen is abundant in the earth's atmosphere, but plants cannot use it in that particular form (nitrogen gas). Certain bacteria which reside on some plant roots are able to change atmospheric nitrogen into a form that plants can use (ammonia).
