2abc-3ab if a=2, b=-3, c=2
Elden [556K]
So a=2 since a is next to the first 2 it would be 2x2 which equals 4 next it’s B and B= -3 so -3x4 equals -12 and then c also equals 2 so it would be -12x2 and that equals -24. Moving on to the next part as I said a=2 so it would be 3x2 and that equals 6 next it’s B again so 6x -3 equals -18 so now take -24 and -18 and subtract them and you would get -6. Sorry if this answer is wrong I did my best...hope it helped.

The function y=40x describes how far from home Shu Ling is as she drives from Dallas to Miami. Graph the function. Use the graph
oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:

You can see the graph below.

To answer the question, you need to draw a vertical line from x = 12h up, until the line meets with the line.

Once the line meets with the line, draw a horizontal line from that point, and the value where this line intersects with the y-axis will be the distance from home after 12 hours.

The graph is kinda hard to read because the line is really steep, the green line is the equation y = 40*x

the red line is a line at x = 12

The black dashed line is the horizontal line that intersects with the y-axis.

In the graph, you can see that the dashed line intersects the y-axis at around y = 475.

Then a good estimate is that the distance after 12 hours is 475 (miles).

Now, we can compare this with the direct calculation, just replace x by 12 in the given line:

y = 40*12 = 480.

So our estimation is really accurate.

Expand the given power using the Binomial Theorem. (10k – m)5
agasfer [191]

Answer:

(10k - m)^{5}=100000k-50000k^{4}m+10000k^{3}m^{2}-1000k^{2}m^{3}+50km^{4}-m^{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets explain how to solve the problem

- The rule of expand the binomial is:

(a+b)^{n}=(a)^{n}+nC1(a)^{n-1}(b)+nC2(a)^{n-2}(b)^{2}+nC3(a)^{n-3}(b)^{3}+...............+(b)^{5}

∵ The binomial is (10k-m)^{5}

∴ a = 10k , b = -m and n = 5

∴ (10k-m)^{5}=(10k)^{5}+5C1(10k)^{4}(-m)+5C2(10k)^{3}(-m)^{2}+5C3(10k)^{2}(-m)^{3}+5C4(10k)^{1} (-m)^{4}+5C5(10k)^{0}(-m)^{5}

∵ 5C1 = 5

∵ 5C2 = 10

∵ 5C3 = 10

∵ 5C4 = 5

∵ 5C5 = 1

∴ (10k-m)^{5}=100000k^{5}+(5)(10000)k^{4}(-m)+(10)(1000)k^{3}(m^{2})+(10)(100)k^{2}(-m^{3})+5(10k)^{1} (m^{4})+(10k)^{0}(-m^{5})

∴ (10k-m)^{5}=100000k^{5}-50000)k^{4}m+10000k^{3}m^{2}-1000k^{2}m^{3}+50km^{4}-m^{5}
