This one is tricky as a and d are both good answers, but d is more correct since its easier and more obvious to see that far northern Europe has a far lower population than the entirety of southern Europe with countries like turkey and Italy which are a very deep orange, and still with the sheer number of small green countries in southern Europe, those add up, beating northern Europe by a mile.
