A fire hydrant with a blue cap provides water at a rate of 1,500 gallons per minute. A fire hydrant with a green cap provides wa

ter at a rate of 1,000 gallons per minute. A fire hydrant with a purple cap provides water at half the rate of a fire hydrant with a green cap..Which equation relates the flow of water from the blue hydrant, b, to the flow from the green hydrant, g.

Answer: 2b = 3g

Step-by-step explanation:

This is quite basic to solve, below is a Step by step explanation:

from the given question we have that;

  • A fire hydrant with a blue cap provides water at a rate of 1,500 gallons per minute.

       i.e  b = 1500 gallons per minute

  • A fire hydrant with a green cap provides water at a rate of 1,000 gallons per minute.

          g = 1000 gallons per minute.

Our questions tells us to write the equation which  relates the flow of water from the blue hydrant, b, to the flow from the green hydrant, g.

ANS:

Since flow from blue  hydrant b = 1500 gallons per minute, we have that

b = 3 * 500

b = 3 * 1000/2 g

b = 3/2 g

equation  gives 2b = 2g

cheers i hope this helped !!

10 points, Solve the rational exponents, please show the work if you can :) please don't use me for points, its already happened
iogann1982 [59]
Essentially just turn the big number into an exponent so u can cancel out and be left with just the x for example 128 is the same as 2^7 and when you have it like that you simply cancel the 2 and are left with x=7

A) x=7
B) x=6
C) x=4
D) x=8
E) got cut off theres no value
F) x=2
G) x=3

Id reccomend downloading photomath for these type of questions or symbolab on your phone it shows the steps but try practicing it first :)

The only right angles are between the lines (O,F) and (Q,D)

Step-by-step explanation:

by examination. The tangental line goes through the same point the diameter line goes through so to be tangental it has to be 90 degrees on each side.

2. Determine whether the relation is a function.
aev [14]

Answer:

yes It is relatively easy to determine whether an equation is a function by solving for y. When you are given an equation and a specific value for x, there should only be one corresponding y-value for that x-value. For example, y = x + 1 is a function because y will always be one greater than x.
