HELP PLEASE I HAVE BEEN STUCK FOR HOURS THIS IS DUE- I'll mark brainliest. In parallelogram WXYZ, diagonal WY is drawn, M and N

are points on WX and YZ respectively, and WY intersects MN at E. If m<Z= 60°, m<WYX= 84°, and m<NEY= 102°, find m<ZNM. l'll mark brainliest, I'm not sure how to do this problem and I'm stressed-

Answer: 158

Step-by-step explanation:

to figure out ZNM you need to figure out what YNM is first. Once you know this you can use the linear pair to find ZNW

1st. in a parallelogram consecutive angles are supplementary. so WZN and XYN = 180

Since we know WZN is 60,  subtract from 180 and the XYN is 120

a part of XYN is 84, to find the angle measure of XYN 180-84=36

now us the triangle with angles 104 and 36 to find the value of MNY (180-102-36= 40

So MNY= 42

180-42= 158

Angle  ZNM- 158

Answer:

Opposite sides of the parallelogram are equal. Here, 60°+60°+ Angle ZWX + Angle ZYX = 360°

or,2* Angle ZYX = 240° [ Angle ZWX = Angle ZYX]

So, Angle ZYX = 120°

Then, In ∆ENY;

102° + (120-84)° + Angle ENY = 180° [Sum of all angles of a triangle.]

or, 36° + Angle ENY = 78°

So, Angle ENY = 42°

If one card is drawn from a standard 52- card deck and not replaced, what is the probabity of getting an ace on the next draw?
mart [117]

Answer:

The probability is about 7.7%

Step-by-step explanation:

A probability is the ratio of the number of relevant outcomes and the number of all possible outcomes. To answer this question we do some counting first:

Consider two draws. We are interested in the second draw being an Ace, the first draw can either be an Ace or not, so, there are two cases of a relevant outcomes (all without replacement):

(number of relevant oucomes n ) = (number of cases of Ace-Ace draws) + (number of cases of NonAce-Ace draws):

n=4\cdot 3+{48\cdot4}= 204

(number of possible outcomes) = (number of choices at first draw) * (number of choices at second draw) = 52 * 51 = 2652

The probability is then

P = 204/2652 = 0.0769, or about 7.7%

A company sells trinkets and doodads. It costs the company $30 to make 4 trinkets and 2 doodads and $40 to make 3 trinkets and 4
vfiekz [6]
Tinkets:
4x = 30 \\ x = 7.5
now the next step
3x + 4y = 40
since you know x, you're able to substitute

3 \times (7.5) + 4y = 40 \\ 22.5 + 4y = 40 \\ 4y = 17.5 \\ y = 4.375
so trinket: $7.5
doodad: $4.375
