Fantom [35]

Answer:

He argues that they have too little CHILDHOOD time leading to increased stress

Explanation:

Author David Elkind in his book titled The Hurried Child articulates how children are hurried out of their childhood time due to pressure from either the society or their parents. He argues that that children are overcommitted and are growing up too fast and too soon as they are burdened with high expectations to behave like adults. This expectations ( such as to succeed, and to win etc) place on them as much stress just like any adult and may cause adult-like psychological stress on the children too

valentina_108 [34]

Answer:

World War I began in June of 1914 and is considered to have five major causes that led to the outbreak of the war. These five causes include the four long-term causes (militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism) discussed in this reading and one short-term cause (the assassination of Franz Ferdinand).

The long term effect contributed to the outbreak of the war 1, by causing the downfall of four monarchies:

Germany, Turkey, Austria-Hungary, and Russia. The war made people more open to other ideologies, such as the Bolsheviks that came to power in Russia and fascism that triumphed in Italy and even later in Germany.

Explanation: Yes, World War 1 was inevitable. ... Their competitive nature was motivated by the encouragement of nationalism within countries, the entangled alliances between nations, the arms race and the battle to acquire colonies around the world contributed to the small disputes that lead to war.

The importance of political parties has diminished in recent years because of ________.
morpeh [17]

Because of their role in elections, political parties are particularly significant in democracies. They raise voters' awareness of the issues. Politically, they maintain the national. Voters' interest in politics is stoked by them, and they draw attention to pressing issues.

A political party is a collection of people organized for the purpose of obtaining and using political power. In the 19th century, the electoral and parliamentary systems—whose history mirrors the formation of parties—as well as political parties as we know them today were created in Europe and the United States. Since then, the term "party" has come to refer to all organized parties vying for political power, whether through democratic elections or through revolution.

In older, pre-revolutionary, aristocratic and monarchical regimes, the political process took place in small, exclusive groups where cliques and factions, united around specific noblemen or significant figures, competed with one another. The emergence of political parties and the development of parliamentary systems initially had little impact on this state of affairs.
