Answer: The correct option is D. Much of the coastal Florida will be underwater considering the pattern of ocean conveyor belt setting and geographical location.

The ocean circulation conveyor belt or the thermohaline circulation of sea water circulates massive water currents from northern to southern oceans and again back. The water from tropical Atlantic is warm and moves towards the poles supplying heat to atmosphere which drops the temperature a little in high altitudes. The warm water on releasing heat becomes denser and sinks down. This closed circulation loop makes the cold water move towards the tropical region at the deeper levels.

Atlantic acts as an engine for the entire planet’s conveyor belt of the ocean current, the cold water which is sinking up in North Atlantic drives current in the Pacific ocean as well .

When animal cells are grown in a petri dish, they typically stop dividing once they have formed a single, unbroken layer on the
aleksandr82 [10.1K]
This arrest of division is an example of Density-dependent inhibition. Density dependent inhibition is the process where crowded cells stop dividing; the number of cells in an area force competition for nutrients, space, and growth factors, therefore, when cells are crowded, they get signals to stop dividing. In density dependent inhibition, when density is high there is no cell division and when the density is low cells divide.

What is stimulated by high extracellular fluid volume (ECFV) and works to increase GFR and urine output?
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Stretching of the atrial muscle cells releases a hormone called atrial natriuretic factor (ANF). ANF relaxes the juxtaglomerular (JG) cells of the afferent arteriole and thereby increases GFR and urine output.
