In Egypt, the River Nile creates a fertile green valley across the desert. It was by the banks of the river that one of the oldest civilizations in the world began. The ancient Egyptians lived and farmed along the Nile, using the soil to produce food for themselves and their animals.

Ancient Egypt was famed for its great power and wealth, due to the highly fertile lands of the Nile delta, which were rich sources of grain for the whole Mediterranean region. Ancient Phoenician port in North Africa founded by colonists from Tyre in the late 9th century BC.

The Romans introduced the sakia 2,300 years ago and they are still used today to raise water from underground wells. Some farmers now use electrical pumps to take water from the Nile onto farmland. Crops grown along the Nile and fish caught in the river provide food for the people of Egypt.

BlackZzzverrR [31]

Schachter and Singer's study suggests that emotions are the result of both cognitive and physiological processes. According to their study, individuals respond in different ways to a shot of adrenaline and that will depend on the context they find themselves in. In this situational context, if an individual is uninformed or misinformed about the effect of epinephrine and interacts with an angry person, he/she will show an angry response.
