In The 1950s - 1960s African Americans were protesting because they wanted freedom and justice! Their were alot of things carcason people did but Us african americans couldnt do. They Seperated Color people with white people. Also that was the time that Martin luther king Jr was alive and he and malcom X fighted for freedom and they did it. Today Us African Americans can have the rights that we deserved. As an African American myself i am proud to be one Because my people were treated awfulley by the Whites and im glad that MLK helped to fight for justice for us.
