 Solve  :    3x-2 = 0

Add  2  to both sides of the equation :

                     3x = 2

Divide both sides of the equation by 3:

                    x = 2/3 = 0.667

Two solutions were found :

x = 2/3 = 0.667

x = 0

hope this helped

Answer:

x=\frac{2}{3}

x = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

Method 1: Quadratic Formula

Ignore the A before the ±, it wouldn't let me type it correctly.

x=\frac{-b±\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac } }{2a}

3x² - 2x = 0

a = 3

b = - 2

c = 0

x=\frac{-(-2)±\sqrt{(-2)^{2}-4((3)(0)) } }{2(3)}

x=\frac{-(-2)±\sqrt{4-4((3)(0)) } }{2(3)}

x=\frac{-(-2)±\sqrt{4+0 } }{2(3)}

x=\frac{2±\sqrt{4 } }{2(3)}

x=\frac{2±2 }{2(3)}

x=\frac{2±2 }{6}

Two separate equations

x=\frac{2+2 }{6}

x=\frac{2-2 }{6}

x=\frac{4 }{6}

x=\frac{2}{3}

x=\frac{0 }{6}

x = 0

Method 2: Factoring

3x² - 2x = 0

(3x - 2) · x = 0

Two separate equations

3x - 2 = 0

3x - 2 + 2 = 0 + 2

3x = 2

3x ÷ 3 = 2 ÷ 3

x=\frac{2}{3}

x = 0

it is speed per hour

then you just connect time and speed:

  1. 140 - 2
  2. 280 - 4
  3. 350 - 5
  4. 420 - 6
  5. 560 - 8

If the ratio of men to women is 3:2 and there are 120 men, how many women would there be?
zavuch27 [327]
There would be 80 women.
Here's the work:
120 divided by 3 = 40
If the ratio is 3:2, there is always one less woman then men, so you subtract the 40 men in a group and you get your answer of 80

Hope I helped!! :)

Can someone please help with this problem
JulsSmile [24]

Answer:

f(x)=-3(x+2)^2-2

Step-by-step explanation: the the FX graph the -3 in my equation represents the decrease(for being negative) in the graph, the positive 2 represents the x axis if that number is positive the negative 3 is going to change the x axis then will end up being negative which is why the x starts off in negative 2, the last number represents the y axis if the y axis is negative 2 the y will start off at -2

What is the value of H
never [62]

Answer:

h = 55

Step-by-step explanation:

the sum of the 3 angles in a triangle = 180°

the 2 unknown interior angles = 180 - 2h ( straight angle ), hence

the sum of the 3 angles

180- 2h + 180 - 2h + 40 = 180

400 - 4h = 180 ( subtract 400 from both sides )

- 4h = - 220 ( divide both sides by - 4 )

h = 55
