How many positive factors of 200 are divisible by 4?
Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

C. 6, D. 20, B. 18, B. 9

Step-by-step explanation:

#1. Factors of 200 are 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 20, 25, 40, 50, 100 & 200, of which 6 are divisible by 4 (4, 8, 20, 40, 100 & 200)

#2. Prime factors of 35 are 7 & 5, twice the sum of these factors, k = 24. k-4 = 20

#3. Non-multiples of 4 nor 5 between 16 and 45 are 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29, 31, 33, 34, 37, 38, 39, 41, 42 & 43...thus 18 non-multiples

#4. Even factors of 120 greater than 1 and less than 40 are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, 24 & 30...thus there are 9 even factors

In December it snowed 2 days for every 8 days it did not snow what percent of the days in December did it snow
sergey [27]
I think it might be 20%. If in a total of 10 days it only snowed 2, then you could take 2/10, which is .2, then multiply by 100 to make it a percentage... which would be 20%.

For 2) and 4), check the picture below

that's the "secant segments from external point"  theorem... and that's just an example... so... use that for those

now, for the other two, you'd want to post them separately, one at a time, easier to track and revise
