Cerebrum is the largest part of the brain, & it’s composed of right & left hemisphere. It performs a higher function like interpreting touch, vision & hearing, as well has speech, reasoning, emotions, & learning. (Reasoning, speech, & learning all are traits of intelligence, as well as creativity, which is on the left hemisphere of the brain.)

If you add air to a flat tire through a single small entry hole, why does the air spread out to fill the tire
Natali [406]
The tire fills up just like any thing else that holds air when u pump a ball or tire up it fills all the way up cause it is a small confined space and after filling it with air the atoms of the air fill the tire up

Sam heats an 8kg sample of sand, with a specific heat of 664 J/kg·C°, from 20° to 40°. What is the change in thermal energy?
zysi [14]

Answer:

106.24 kJ.

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass of sample of sand, m = 8 kg

Specific heat of sand, c = 664 J/kg-°C

The temperature changes from 20° C to 40° C. We need to find the change in thermal energy. It is given by :

Q=mc\Delta T\\\\Q=8\times 664(40-20)\\\\=106240\ J\\\\=106.24\ kJ

So, the change in thermal energy is 106.24 kJ.

6. What is the wavelength of a wave that is traveling at 30 m/s and has a frequency of 3.2 Hz?
lidiya [134]

Answer:

6. 9.4 m

7. 1050 m/s.

Explanation:

6. Determination of the wavelength

Velocity (v) = 30 m/s

Frequency (f) = 3.2 Hz

Wavelength (λ) =?

v = λf

30 = λ × 3.2

Divide both side by 3.2

λ = 30 / 3.2

λ = 9.4 m

Thus, the wavelength of the wave is 9.4 m.

7. Determination of the speed of the wave.

Wavelength (λ) = 350 m

Frequency (f) = 3 Hz

Velocity (v) =.?

v = λf

v = 350 × 3

v = 1050 m/s

Thus, the speed of the wave is 1050 m/s
