What is common between aerobic and anaerobic respiration?

Biology

Both aerobic and anaerobic respirations are types of cellular respiration. Both use glycolysis to produce ATP. Both generate energy by breaking down glucose. Both produce byproducts and depend on chemical reactions that are localized in the cytosol. Both use pyruvate as a substrate and both processes depend on enzymes to catalyze their respective chemical reactions. A fact about these two types of respiration is that aerobic respiration produces or release 19 times more energy than anaerobic respiration from the same amount of glucose

4. The TATA box helps
bind in the correct place.
AlexFokin [52]

Answer:

The TATA box helps bind the RNA polymerase in the correct place.

Explanation:

The TATA box can be found before a gene. It is type of promoter sequence which allows for the process of transcription to begin.

The transcription factor proteins recognize the TATA sequence and bind to it. The RNA polymerase is positioned by the transcription factor proteins. The transcription factors form a binding site for the RNA polymerase which binds to the specific site and starts with the transcription process.

According to a system framework study, there are relationships between the birth and death of people with the rats and the palm trees. It explains that peoples' population in Easter island has a relationship with rats and palm trees in the area.
The number of palm trees decreases because of the increased number of rats that eats its fruits. Seed germination became frequently interfered because of this activity.
However, the slow growth of palm trees was also blamed for the tree cutting off the people.

A fossil was found and determined by radiometric dating to be 11,400 years old. what is the ratio of carbon-14 to carbon-12 in t
LuckyWell [14K]

The answer would be 25%

Carbon 14 is radioactive material with 5700 year of half-time which will change it into carbon-12, a more stable substance. If the age of the fossil is 11,400 years old, then the amount of half-time passed would be: 11,400 years/ (5,700years/ half-time)= 2 half-time.

Since it undergo 2 half-time, the percentage should be: 100% * (1/2)^2= 25%
