Assume that for a certain product, brand a has 15% market share, brand b has 20% market share, and brand c has 65% market share.
tiny-mole [99]
Brand B market share is now at 14%

100 = 30 + (15-3x) + (20-4x) + (65-13x)
100 = 130-20x
20x = 130-100
x = 30/20
x = 1.5

b = 20-4*1.5
 = 14

Which of the following can explain the upward slope of the short-run aggregate supply curve? a. nominal wages are slow to adjust
Goryan [66]

Answer: A - nominal wages are slow to adjust to changing economic conditions

Explanation:

In the short run, the costs of many of the factors used in the production process are fixed. For example labours wage is fixed for a number of years because of labour contracts. Also the raw materials used in the production process have long term agreements that fix their prices.

As a result of factors of production been fixed in the short run, when general price level rises and the cost of production remains constant, profit also rises.

Firms take advantage of this rise in price and increase production and the quantity of aggregate supply increases. This is why the short run aggregate supply curve is upward sloping.

Eduardo and Larson enter into a partnership agreement to sell gourmet dog biscuits, but they do not specify how long it will las
aleksley [76]

Answer:

Eduardo and Larson enter into a partnership agreement to sell gourmet dog biscuits, but they do not specify how long it will last. Consequently, it will end: whenever Eduardo, Larson or both of them decide to end it.

From the list below, which is NOT an ordinary right of partners in a general partnership?

 • management
 • dividends
 • representation
 • joint ownership

Partnerships do not distribute dividends, only corporations distribute dividends. Partners are pass-through entities, that means that they are not taxed, the partners are taxed.

A deep sea diving bell is being lowered at a constant rate. After 12 minutes, the bell is at a depth of 400 ft. After 50 minute
ella [17]

Answer: After 50 minutes the bell is at a depth of 2000 ft so we can find the average rate by

2000/50 =40 ft per minute.

We ignore the 400 ft in 12 minutes because that is included when we take out the average at 50 minutes and adding it in would be an error of doubly entry.
