Ok since it’s a 45 45 90 right triangle then both sides equal 5. And to find x you do

A^2 +b^2=c^2
5^2 +5^2= c^2
25+25=c^2
50=c^2
Take the square root of both sides and you get X= 5 square root of 2 or 7.071(rounded)

All up there are 20 marbles and only 6 of those are chances of winning so we make it into a fraction 6/20 then times 20 by five to get to 100 (what ever we do to the bottom we do to the top) times 6 by five giving you a fraction of 30/100 then divide 30 by 100 giving you 0.30 ANSWER EQUALS = 0.30

A pair of ordinary dice is rolled. What is the probability that each die will show a number higher than 4. 1. (1/36) 2. (1/12) 3
mihalych1998 [28]

Answer:

the answer is 1/12

Step-by-step explanation:

it is 1/12 because if there are only a pair you would have 2 dice. and since each die has numbers all the way up to 6 all you have to do is add them. and don't count all the numbers. like add 1+2+3+4+5+6. that's just plain wrong just do add the highest number on each die (6+6)

Rectangle with a side length of 11" and a diagonal of 14" what is the perimeter
notka56 [123]

Answer:

10sqrt3+22

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok, let us imagine it as a sort of rectangle split upon its diagonal.

Using that, we can Pythag it out,

11^2+b^2=14^2

121+b^2=196

b^2=75

b=sqrt75

b=5sqrt3

Ok, using this info, we find the perimeter,

5sqrt3+5sqrt3+11+11

10sqrt3+22

The answer is 10sqrt3+22
